The London Chapter of Alpha Omega has always been a leader in the ar eas of professionalism and
charitable endeavors. I have had the privilege of meeting a few of your outstanding members at
Alpha Omega International Conventions, as well as gotten to know John Wolfe very well when we worked
together when I was Chair of the Boar d of Trustees. It was indeed appropriate that John went on to
become the first European International President of Alpha Omega.
The London chapter has led the way in both their support of the Alpha Omega Inter national Fraternity,
as well as through the outstanding efforts of your Charitable Trust. Alpha Omega today is an important
organisation because it is still the "voice of the Jew in dentistry ," as well as a leader
in professionalism, and the only dental organisation to offer a combination of the above
two items, along with the unique frater nal feature of AO.
I look forward to enhancing membership communication during my year as Inter national President, and
look forward to the opportunity to meet many of you. If you ever wish or need to contact me, or simply
have a question or would like to of fer feedback, please feel free to e-mail me at csberkman@aol.com.
Alpha Omega has strength only because of its members, and hopefully belonging to Alpha Omega
makes each member more "complete." As Alpha Omega enters its 104th year , the organisation has and
is evolving to remain relevant, important, and strong. Thank you for belonging!
Fraternally
Charlene S. Berkman, DMD.
