Indirect Composite Restorations

Tuesday 15th November 2011

Greg will be speaking on Indirect Composite Restorations. He will show how a minimally invasive technique can produce outstanding cosmetic results whilst preserving the patient's tooth structure.

Learning Objectives

  • To present a way of doing cosmetic dentistry which you would be happy to use on your friends and family.
  • To show the advantages of indirect composite resin over direct approaches.
  • To outline the limitations of this approach.

Biography

Greg is a Specialist Prosthodontist and is in referral practice in Beckenham in Kent. He graduated from the University of Queensland in 1982 and moved to the UK in 1984. In 1996 he completed his Masters in Conservative Dentistry at the UCL Eastman Dental Institute.

Ever since then, he has been teaching post-graduates at the Eastman on a number of programs including the Certificate, Diploma and Masters degrees in Restorative Dental Practice. He also teaches on the programs in Aesthetic dentistry and Sports dentistry.

This year he launched the Eastman's program in Dental Microscopy. He teaches on a range of prosthodontic topics including direct and indirect restorations, occlusion, restoration of implants and clinical photography. His interests outside dentistry include his family, sailing, skiing, photography and art.
